2011年美国国家科学院（NAS）院士增选名单(当地时间5月3日)揭晓，本次共新增院士90名，其中外籍院士18名。至此，美国国家科学院院士达到2531人。本次新当选院士中有四位华人学者，分别是：孔正，谢晓亮，叶军以及李家洋；其中李家洋为美国国家科学院外籍院士。

孔正（Kung, Ching）为美国威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校遗传与分子生物学系教授；

谢晓亮（Xie, X. Sunney）为美国哈佛大学化学与化学生物系教授，作为北大毕业生，谢晓亮2001年接受母校聘请成为化学学院客座教授，2009年受聘生命科学学院长江讲座教授，2010年在北大组建生物动态光学成像中心；

叶军（Ye, Jun）为美国科罗拉多大学物理系教授，美国国家标准和技术局(NIST)与科罗拉多大学联合实验天体物理实验室(JILA)研究员；

李家洋为中国科学院院士，中国科学院副院长，中科院遗传与发育生物学研究所研究员。

美国科学院成立于1863年，由当时的美国总统林肯授权创建，是一家由科学家和工程师组成的私立机构，致力于为美国联邦政府提供科学技术方面的咨询和建议。当选院士被认为是美国学术界最高荣誉之一。近年来美国科学院每年新增选约72名院士和18名外籍院士。
